The beach walker trials we ok. I am going to rethink the 3 wheel design into a 4 wheel design. This video shows the very first time she tried it. After a while, she did get the hang of it, but I think we can do much better. Stay tuned...
Hi Patrick! I hope you can get your Beach Walker to work for you...we chose the 3-wheel design b/c we figured one wheel in front would be easier to drag to turn than if there were two. Our front wheel is a wheelbarrow wheel, complete with ball-bearings and an inner aluminum axle, so it turns really smoothly (thank goodness b/c it's pretty heavy). One thing I forgot to mention in E's blog is how we attached the rear golf cart wheels--they also roll pretty smoothly, are very lightweight, and seem much larger than the ones you have in the back here--maybe that would help (especially for a 4-wheel style). I'll get the golf cart wheel "how-to" up by Saturday morning. Hope it helps! What a hard working girl you have there!
